Background

The city of Riva del Garda will host the 11th World Conference on Timber Engineering. The conference is part of the continuing series of conferences previously held in Seattle (1988), Tokyo (1990), London (1991), New Orleans (1996), Montreux (1998), Whistler (2000), Shah Alam (2002), Lahti (2004), Portland (2006) and Miyazaki (2008).

The objective of the WCTE 2010 is to provide a forum for the exchange of the latest technological advances, research results and design innovations. As such, this conference should be of interest to practicing engineers and architects, researchers, educators and manufacturers in the field of timber engineering.
