Riva del Garda, Trentino region, Italy, will be the host city for the 2010 World Conference on Timber Engineering: June 20-24, 2010 - Conference Centre Riva del Garda.

Social Program
A social program will be arranged for delegates and accompanying persons. A number of local tours and other opportunities will be available during the week. These activities will be in addition to the receptions and the conference banquet.
Registration
Web registration for WCTE 2010 has been started.
From January 4th on, at WCTE web site it’s possible to submit on-line the extended version of the abstract and the full paper directly on the "papers submission" page, accessible after log-in and clickable from the primary menu.
Due to the great amount of abstracts collected to be presented during the 2010 WCTE and the consequent prolongation of the reviewers work, the deadline for the submission of your papers has been extended until March 2nd. Likewise the deadline to pay the early regular fee has been prolonged until the same date.
Conference Language
The official language of the conference is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.

How to get to Riva del Garda
For all participants of the conference, a free bus shuttle from the Verona airport “Valerio Catullo” will be organised. This service will include the main train station in Verona for those arriving by train.
The provisional scheduled time of departure is: 12 am Verona airport – 12:30 am Verona train station – 2 pm Riva del Garda
6 pm Verona airport – 6:30 pm Verona train station – 8 pm Riva del Garda
A conference meeting point will be clearly indicated at the airport and at the train station of Verona to welcome you.
For those arriving at other airports than Verona, we suggest to travel to Verona train station where a stop of the free bus shuttle to the meeting venue in Riva del Garda is scheduled.

• Motorway: A22, Brennero motorway, exit in Rovereto and then 15 minutes from the tollbooth.
• Scenic routes:
From Brescia: follow the Gardesana Occidentale road (SS 45 bis), direction to Riva del Garda- about 80 km;
From Verona: follow the Gardesana Orientale road (SS 249), direction to Riva del Garda - about 80 km.
During the summer tourist season, coming from these scenic routes may take longer due to traffic.

Direct buses to Riva del Garda leave from Trento and Rovereto (Trentino Trasporti buses), from Verona and Desenzano (APTV buses), from Brescia and Milan (SIA buses).
