Discover Garda Lake
Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, is a seductive setting for exploring a beautiful part of Italy. Framed by majestic mountains, the lake enjoys a Mediterranean micro-climate, with inviting lakeside beaches and villas reached on leisurely steamers. Lake Garda is indeed an all-year-round destination, with something for everyone, from romantic couples to active families, sports-mad youngsters and the cultured “over-fifties”. The beaches, surrounded by vegetation or steep rocks, are wide and sunny. The Mediterranean vegetation consisting of olive trees, lemon trees, palms and bay trees, record the changing of the seasons. In Riva del Garda, where the lake ends and the Brenta Dolomites start, the tourist can enjoy a lot of opportunities: history, art, sports and nature, excellent hotel facilities and characteristic restaurants. There are remains of its millennial history, unmistakable signs of civilisation, of art and culture that survived to this day. Riva del Garda offers its tourists the opportunity to practice all sports according to the taste: sailing, surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, tennis, climbing and canoeing.
